First login

Open the web console (http://localhost:3001 in the Docker guides, the Cloud Run URL on Google Cloud) and log in with the credentials the schema creates:

User admin@axium.local
Password admin123456

They are the same in every new installation and have full permissions.

Change them as soon as you log in

There is no way to set different initial credentials from the configuration: every fresh installation starts with this account. Change the password immediately, and create personal accounts for the people who will administer the installation.

What to do next

  1. Change the admin password.
  2. Store the master key (MASTER_ENCRYPTION_KEY) in your password manager if you have not already. It cannot be rotated and cannot be recovered from the database.
  3. Add a provider. Provider credentials (OpenAI, Google, …) are entered in the console and stored encrypted in PostgreSQL. See Security.
  4. Create a proxy app and an API key, then point an SDK at it. See Proxy apps & gateways and SDK examples.
  5. Configure an observability destination so every request is recorded where you want it. See Observability.
